Order traacking/multiple carts

hi board,

 

first off this is an excellent community and i am happy to be apart of it..

 

im deploying a oscommerce cart for a store but oneof the things they want to do is have a link say from another site directly to the cart and any orders that come from this other site can be tracked..

 

how would this be possible?? they want a different logo if the link has come from the other site but essentially the cart will share the same databse of products..

 

could i set up two front end each using the same databse for products..
