Customer Can't login

I have been successfully running OS2.2 for about a month. But now just yesterday when a customer returns or registers it simply takes the customer back to the welcome login screen. You can browse but your session isn't being tracked.

 

Any ideas?

If it worked before, did you change anything.

Check your admin panel under: Configuration--> settings --> Check IP adress ........and make sure it's set to False. Many web service providers change the IP address on each page request which will really mess up your session. This fixed the issue for me.

 

I also find that my site gets stuck in a loop at the login.php page even when the customer is logged in; no matter how many times they type in their loging info, they just get redirected to the login page even though they are logged in and can proceed to shop by selecting a catagory or product link. I haven't resolved this but think it may be related to my "ultimate SEO contribution" which needs to be brought up to a more current version.
