muhsinb Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Not sure of the exact truth in this, but since i've moved from a shared SSL to a dedicated SSL, i've noticed my sales increase considerably. Speaking to close family and friends, when shopping online, they always look for the pad lock in the bottom right, however they also said, they'd be reluctant to buy if the URL changed to something different (in the case of a shared SSL)...i know a shared SSL still goes across to HTTPS, but a dedicated SSL gives it a more professional look and puts more confidence in the buyer. I don't think it can down to anything else. I still have the same number of visitors coming to my website, just more of 'em seem to purchase. Has anyone else realised this? Cheers
