How to add a pre-made Template contribution

When I read the "how to manual" I see where templates are to be placed in their own folder in "catalog/includes/sts_templates/"

When I read the file structrue of the sts_christmas template I don't see any files going into that folder. I do see the template html file and that is in the catalog folder.

I haven't tried loading this contribution yet... just confused about how it would be done.
