tugeye Posted October 24, 2002 Share Posted October 24, 2002 I've just re-installed 2.2 and it comes up perfectly, all of the default items are there, everything looks great. I go and delete all of the default items and catagories and add in my own. I add in categories and products, set up attributes, etc..and pricing. However, I CANNOT get the prices to show up in the store. What could possibly be causing this? I am at a complete loss...... Anyone? I have installed another 2.2 OSC on a different server and tried pin-pointing when the problem starts. I had gone into currancies and deleted all but the United States dollar. Everything was still good on the public side. I then created a new Canadian currency and set it as the default. I then deleted the US currency, leaving only the Canadian as the defualt. At this point, on the public store, all of the prices changed to 'Zero' ($0) ------ So, I re-created the US currancy and set it back to defualt and viola, on the public side, all my prices re-appeared. However, while the prices show up on the opening page, if you click on a product..the indivudal products still do not have prices displayed. ------ Anyone esle run across this or have a solution? In the edit box for this, at the bottom, it says : Set as default (requires a manual update of currency values) So, I set the USA as the default currency and then I click the button that says Update Currencies. However, when I go back to the public store front, the Currency Block still defualts to Candian. It seems my problem is getting the system to recognize that the US currency is the defualt. Each item must be represented by a category. I guess what my final question was in the last post was: Is there a 'file' that I can edit that controls what the default curency is? I don't see that setting in the database.
