There's a lot of work to be done, page load times are v slow.

I can't go beyond this atm bcause of the speed issue.

It does seem faster today but imo there are far too many unessessary buttons etc images size is too high.

It was the background image that was a little on the large side.

no speed issue on a cable connection and I think the site looks very good.

It is definitely not a rookie site - is this really your first website?

While I appreciate your checkout; be aware that you have inadvertently created a conversion rate faux pas. On stock osC sites, after you click 'add to cart', you are taken to the 'view cart contents' page where users are confronted with the checkout button.

On your website, pressing the 'add to cart' button is confusing because it is not obvious a product was added to the cart. However, the bigger problem is that you do not have a clear call to action directing visitor's to the checkout after an item is added to your cart. A lot of potential customers are likely bailing before they reach your checkout. Of course, you could always do what the stock design does - take visitor's to the view cart contents page upon clicking the 'add to cart' button. This would probably be the easiest way of fixing what is likely a bigger problem than you realize.

Consdiring the products you sell, I have to ask: is privacy an issue for your customers? If so, you should make your privacy policy much more visible. The best way to do this would is usually by crafting a link to your privacy policy and inserting it below the email form.

Best Regards,
