Placing Attributes on Main Product List Pages???

Is there a way to place attributes for a product in the main category product list page or is there a contribution to do this? I can not find one. In other words, I want to speed up the order process for my customers and instead of having to click an individual product from the main list, and then select its options, I would like the attributes to appear in another column right before the price column. So, the customer would click a category, and then see the products table with the columns |Picture | Title | Options | Price | Buy
