Yes it is possible. But you will have to rip the core functionality of osCommerce out.... If you just want to use it as a 'catalog' there might be better software for that...

Actually it is not that hard to do.

 

There are a few changes to be made and the shop becomes a showroom or showcase, depending on if you want prices to show or not.

 

I have a shop setup that way that I am working on to make it a switchable showroom, showcase or store.

 

When I have time I will see what I can do with this to make it available sooner rather than later.
