Subdomain Admin Login

I added a subdomain to a store and would like to know how to add the admin login to that site. if I type in catalog.mywebsite.com/admin it takes me directly into the admin area and does not allow me to add a security check before entering as I have on my other sites using OsC.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have gone in to my server (VPS) and it allows me to add it to the main domain but not to the subdomain.

You could use .htaccess and .htpasswrd in that directory.
