g_p Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Hi. I've searched for the answer to this but can't find it so hope someone can help..... By default, specials.php simply lists all the products that are on special offer, alphabetically. When you have a large catalog with many categories and many special offer products, they all get bundled together on this page and it can become messy. Is there a way to narrow down the specials.php display by category? So if you have 50 products on special offer, across 5 different categories, to have perhaps a drop down box containing these 5 categories to narrow down the specials list display to just those belonging to one specific category, would be perfect. I can't seem to find a contribution that does this but if there is a way, it would make my day! Any help is appreciated. TIA. PS. It's late - I said search.php in the post title and I meant specials.php but I can't change that now - sorry.
