What is the difference between STS and BTS????

What is the difference between STS and BTS as far as the templates go?

 

What template structure is used on the CRE Loaded stores?

 

I do not want to use CRE Loaded, because it has TOO many features, and I cannot do what I want... But at the same time I want to use a template structure like theirs.

 

Any help you can provide, I appreciate.

BTS is a contribution that changes the files to allow it to work. It is availabel here and you can install it if you like. It really serves no purpose, in my mind, except for someone that wants to resell a shop with different looks. For a normal shop that will most likely install one template and not change it for quite a while, all it does is make managing the code much more difficult.

 

STS, on the other hand, can be thought of as a layer on your shop. It makes very few changes to the files, as compared to BTS, and creating a new look for the site is much more simpler using it. To create a new look with BTS, you have to change many files. To change it with STS, you just need to change one file.
