How to add new attributes for all products?

Hi there,

 

by default a product has some common attributes like "Products Manufacturer", "Products Model", etc.

These attributes exist for each product.

 

What is the best way to add additional common attributes for all products?

I'd like to see the new attributes in the form for adding or editing a product.

While you are correct in calling those product attributes from an English point of view, in oscommerce, product attributes refers to something else. I just mention that since it will cause confusion if the distinction is not noted. With that said, what you want to do is at extra fields to the products table. There is contribution meant to do just that (I think it is called product extra fields).
