EVS Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Hello. One more additional thing as I start off here.... :rolleyes: I was hoping for a little help with uploading this french language pack i found. The txt. in the pack instructs me to: ''-1. Copy the folders /includes and /admin in your catalog folder. - 2. Connect you to the administration website Go to the section : -> Localization/Languages Click on 'new language' button. To fill with the following data : - Name = French - Code = fr - Directory = french - Sort Order = 1 and select "set as default" - 3. Do not forget to put the language english in Sort Order = 2'' Part one is the part I am having a problem with...how do you 'copy the folders' exactly... i do go to file manager to do this right,.....all i can do is upload each individual piece of each folder ...would take a long time to do...if it even would work! Any advice for this novice would be appreciated! thanks! eric Always give your best, never get discouraged!
Jack_mcs Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 You need to install an FTP program. There are many free ones available. Filezilla works great. Once you have it installed, it is just a matter of connecting to your server and uploading the files.
