Create an embeded google map with UK Addresses

Hi all

 

Maybe there is someone who has done it.

 

I have many UK and London addresses with postcodes and at moment I am using multimap with the postcode to have a popup window with the map of the address, but I am developing an embed google map http://www.google.com/apis/maps/ . Using the Latitute and Longitute.

 

Is there a way to do the same using a UK/London postcode instead of the lat/lon? and how can I do it?

 

Another question, I have seen many London websites that when they show a business address with the London tube station, have next to it the walking distance between the two points. (address to tube station 0,2m) It must be somewhere a databse to download for this, can oneone direct me on that?

You could look at the Easy Map contribution. It might do what you want. To have a distance between type of feature, the code has to calculate that, which means it has to have a table of locations. You can purchase those online. I think they start at around $40/year. Or, if you know the locations, you can just enter those into a table and display the results.
