Guest Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 Is there a contribution for Secondary Addresses? I need to make an option for Secondary Addresses that also automatically adds extra postage for Snow Birds. If not, then I will monitor them and chrge their cards or hold up their memberships till they pay. Also have been trying to modify DOB to accept straight numbers instead of dates for use as a Member Number field. Couldn't seem to find what I was looking for in the Contributions area. Anybody that can solve both issues will receive a free one year Membership to ModelYacht.org. Thanks in advance.
Guest Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 anyone? anyone? anyone? Anybody have an idea how to maybe tie in a separate charge like by Zone for an account with 2 addresses? I have a feeling that Zone Shipping is the way to go.
Ausgirl Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Maybe you could tweak this for what you want. For example, in addition to the usual "Table Rate" charges, the module is setup by default to add an extra $10 to ship to any state in Canada and an extra $15 to ship to US-Hawaii.
Ausgirl Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 As for your DOB you could try looking at this thread it might help you
Guest Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Good idea. I'll toy with it. As for the response about DOB. I fixed that during a late night phone call with a friend. If I only took notes I could have had a contribution. Change that DOB field to anything. Lots of strings were turned off.

That would be right, tis usually the way, its a good idea that you had though, if you remember how you did it, let me in on it :)
