Guest Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 I am a newbie to OSC, and my webbost offered the OSC cart for ecommerce. So I created the database, and my host installed the cart for me. When I got to the default site that was created, it looked and worked great. I will be selling pictures online, so I need the downloads function to work. I turned it on in the admin area, and as soon as I got back to the main catalog, it told me that the /download/ folder did not exist, but it does. It came with the install. I read some posts, and discovered that I need to make some changes to my config.php file, did that, and still no success. I am greatfull for any suggestions and answers to come. Thank you.
Guest Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 I also wanted to add my config.php file to see if any errors can be found. Here it is. The only changes I made to it from what my webhost installed is the path for the server. Got that from reading these topics. // Define the webserver and path parameters // * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical) // * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL) define('HTTP_SERVER', '/hshome/jgswebsl/photosbycarolynonline.com/'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('HTTPS_SERVER', ''); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure? define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '/'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '/'); define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/catalog/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/catalog/'); define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/'); define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/'); define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/'); define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/'); define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES .
