simple categories problem

Hello if you can help me, that would be great!

Even some hint to a right file would be excellent.

 

My question is how do you make the main catogories NOT show when in a sub category?

for example "video" is a main category, so when it is clicked i would like it to show just romance and action - these are subcategories.

 

Please help! :blink:
