Richard_1010 Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 Hi all, Each time i upload a product the image does not resize under the categories so for example i list a car under cars and the image will be full size but any where else it is a thumbnail which is set in the admin section. I am using a custom template but not sure how i can fix it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
IAAF Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 Hi all, Each time i upload a product the image does not resize under the categories so for example i list a car under cars and the image will be full size but any where else it is a thumbnail which is set in the admin section. I am using a custom template but not sure how i can fix it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance I am also having the same problem in my ADMIN section. All the images for the categories are not being resized. Right before this started happening I had read a post where if you went into the ADMIN/CONFIGURATION/IMAGES and changed the size of the thumbnails when created by removing the HEIGHT size and just having a WIDTH size, this would eliminate the thumbnails created that are out of proportion to the original image. This did work great - and quite an easy fix - but then I started noticing the category images in the ADMIN section only not resizing. I have also added some other contributions, but nothing to do with images - so not quite sure how this occurred. To test I need to go back and add the HEIGHT size to each of the 3 thumbnail (or at least for subcategory image height) types to see if that changes it back - just don't have time right now ... donna IAAF www.ItsAllAboutFamily.com www.IAAF-Treasures.com
Richard_1010 Posted April 15, 2007 Author Posted April 15, 2007 Hi Donna, I sorted out the problem, i haven't used any contributions so knew it was an error within the template (wasn't the first but was the last) any way what i did was found the file which was causing the problem which was product_listing.php (includes\modules) and found where it said PRODUCT_LIST_IMAGE and deleted it and replaced it with a the same but from a different template so it fixed it! Took my time but at least its sorted!
