Bit of a newbie myself, and was wondering... is it worth downloading this AND something like the Ultimate SEO contribution, or do they do much the same thing?

Also, will one conflict with the other?

SEO contrib will just change the way URLS look so its work is different from the dynamic meta tag functionality.

 

Both are a must.

SEO URLs and Header Tags are 2 essential contribs any osCommerce shop owner should install. The header tags needs alot of time, especially if you have a lot of products for individual titles, tags, etc etc, but it does a good job with search engine. Try and use keywords within alt tags too.
