Fixed width question

I have the fixed width update and I would like to add a background picture. Would I do that in the stylesheet.css and in this location

BODY {

text-align: center;

background: #ffffcc; <-- here? And what would the line look like?

color: #000000;

margin: 0px;

}

 

Please help… as you can see I’m very very limited in my programming skill set!
