rodkrz Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 I'm having problems removing the installation folder: if I don't remove it, the red alert on top shows up asking to delete the "/install" folder if I rename the folder or delete it, I get a different error message: Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/public_html/install) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/tmp:/usr/share/pear) in /public_html/includes/header.php on line 15 How can I solve this ??
GemRock Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 a quick fix would be comment it out line 15 in that file in question, ie, tell it not to check the install folder any more. rodkrz Posted April 16, 2007 Author Posted April 16, 2007 I just did that. When it was on localhost... this didn't happen... I posted just to make sure it wouldn't harm any other functions on the site... Thankz GemRock
