Something is changing the prices!

I know this sounds crazy, but here's what is going on...

Example:

Items A, B, C, and D cost $10 each.

Item X is items A-D (set of 4) for $30.

Well, somehow the price for item X is being changed to $40!

In the real life problem, the price is going from 72.51 to 79.94 for example, so it's not a data entry error. The numbers are nothing alike.

Has OSC developed AI? haha Seriously, what is going on here?

Are you adding your items nett of tax? The program could be adding the tax for you. I suggest you check in your admin section if the prices are being added nett or gross.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the response...

Ok, let me be more specific. I have 7 individual books for sale. I also offer them as a set at a discounted price. To do this I add a new item and make it the 7 book set. I noticed on 2 of these though that the price I entered is not the price showing. The changed price equals the cost of buying all 7 books individually. So, I haven't checked, but I doubt tax would equal the difference. I leave tax class as none always anyways.

That IS strange. If it's not a tax issue I'm pretty stumped. Is your admin section secured? Could someone be getting in there and altering your prices to play games?

Sorry I'm not much help. I hope someone else can assist you with this matter.
