Option Value "Yes" and "No" displayed as "0"

Hello, I'm new to osCommerce :D I have tried searching for "option variables" etc... only to get thousands of results displayed

Sorry if this question has been answered somewhere in these thousands of posts, but I just can't seem to find it!?

Our company offers services only in our cart. For one of our attributes, we are offering an optional service.

The question is: Would you like lawn aeration?

The variables are:

1) "0" with a "-" prefix (to ensure that the customer selects a definite option)

2) "No" with a "+" prefix and price of $0

3) "Yes" with a "+" prefix and price of $70

We have two attributes per item offered, and I also noticed that when both of these have attributes with "0" and "-" prefix, that only one needs a definite option for the cart to proceed. Is this a bug? We need input on both of our options.

Thanks for any help :D

In the admin section, go to the catalog setion of the left hand menu and click on 'product attributes'. You should be able to alter accoringly from there.

I hope is has been of help.

Yes, that is where I entered the attributes. Sorry if I wasn't too clear, but this is the issue I am having after entering these values.

Sorry Andy, my fault. I never read your post correctly. Well I'm stumped. Maybe you could try 1) "0" with a + prefix and the words 'Please select'.

Does that help?
