cookies redirect from customer login

hello,

i've installed osc at least 10 times in different environments, so it's not entirely new to me. i'm familiar with most of the installation quirks and their solutions, but this one has puzzled me for a bit.

i developed this store on windows and have ported it over to a linux host successfully. the problem is this:

when a user attempts to login he is redirected to the index page - see the behavior here: www.bookmarkit.net

i've tried EVERYTHING i can think of..my config file looks like this:

I see what you mean.

I also get a www.bookmarkit.net at the top left of screen.

When I view source, I see

www.bookmarkit.net<!doctype html public "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">

<head>

I do no know how it got there.

You may want to change

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '/');

define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/');

to

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '');

define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '');

and include

define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

but I do not know if it will help.

You may need to check the latest contribs that you put in, check against standard OSC. In particular, the login.php file.

It's definately not login.php. The store runs fine on another box (windows) with the host's file modded. Any other ideas? Thanks so much for trying this much so far.

and where do you like it to redirect? Its how the default osc works when there is no navigation history.

What threw me was that I could not see the My Account when logged in. I didn't know it was under forum.
