Hi all,

I have added some text to my footer that I hope will help my SEO. I thought that maybe it would be nice to have about 6 different selections of text and some php code could be inserterd into the footer that would randomly call up 1 of the 6 available selections.

I suppose I would put some code in the footer and then define the 6 bits of text in the english.php file, but I have no idea how or even if it is possible. Has anyone seen a mod like this? Maybe one I can study and modify for my purpose? I tried a few searches of the contributions, but no luck so far.

How about Javascript?

Zhexiang, I've seen several places where you've suggested Javascript.

Javascript can be useful, but I'd be very careful about driving a mission critical function with Javascript. Not everyone has it enabled in their browser.

Knifeman, it sounds as if you are saying you'd like to randomize the links in your footer.php file.

You may find some success by modifying another randomizing script to your needs.

One that looks interesting is

If that's not easily adaptable to your needs, just do a search for "random link php scripts" in Google.

Good luck.
