Hi there, I'm fairly new to osC and need some help with integrating osC with my current website template. I have purchased a template online that said its fairly easily integratable to osC but i have no clue where to start. My current website template is at www.hartandsole.com . I would like to keep the look and feel of my website but integrate osC's shopping cart and other features such as product search and all. If anyone can point me in the right direction would be great. I have done some research and found that the contribution STS might help me do this? Please help me out! thanks!

fyep, that looks like a very professional, and functional site. I'm kind of curious as to why you'd switch in the middle, but guess that's none of my business.

The standard oscommerce script has some fairly easily changeable elements of design, but there really is no template system.

You might want to check into cre-loaded. I know a designer that swears by that version of oscommerce. The designer is able to develop and incorporate designs with cre-loaded oscommerce.

Don't know anything about the system you've mentioned.

Good luck.

I guess you haven't heard of sts isn't it?

as of your recommendation is the worse thing to do using that archaic template system.

I would just like to clarify what I believe engima1 is stating...(engima1, correct me if I am wrong about your intent)

Cre Loaded uses the outdated BTS (basic template system), not STS (the Simple Template System). BTS is totally incompatible with STS.

If you do choose to use a template system, then I would go with STS since it is really taylored to do what your original post was asking for. You will find more info in the links in my signature below.
