Gisele
I'm working on the 2.2 version with this situation for a client: 1) Customer accounts are on a pre-approved basis, so we don't want people to be able to create accounts through the site. We create the account first and then email the customer their login information The only way I can see this, is to move the create_account.php to the admin area to prevent people from accessing this page (that know how OSC works) 2) In addition (against my better judgement), client doesn't want people to be able to change their passwords once access has been granted. Has anyone had any experiences with these types of situations? Thanks in advance for any help. Gisele Grenier
Aragon127
sounds like a B2B situation. Never seen it done(or know why you'd do it)in consumer situation though. Most B2B shops are like this. They want to create their own account for you, pass credit ect. Works good in that situation.
