Can anyone who already has a store running to share his/her experience working with osCommerce. I would like to ask: What does a web host have to have to support osCommerce? How fast is osCommerce reacts when there a lot of items to display in catalog? What are the best gateways to work with osCommerce? Thank you, :D Serg

Apache, PHP, MySQL, Enough Bandwidth More products = slower page rendering time, but this is not an issue as slow pages is more likely due to the number of graphics etc involved rather than software issues. I like Worldpay.

addaction Posted October 24, 2002 Posted October 24, 2002 You can install OSCommerce wherever you want as long as the server runs PHP and MySQl. You don't need root access.
