How to install SSL

i have an osCommerce store and want to install SSL, so that for checkout process, the users will be taken to HTTPS://.

I have not purchased SSL, but some has told me that this can done with having SSL .

 

So plz help me how to fix this.

You can't use https on your site without an ssl certificate. You can go to other https sites (like a payment gateway) without an ssl certificate. .
