Admin keeps getting logged out (logging out)

I keep getting logged out of the admin console when trying to for example:

search for customers

search for orders

set interval for the whos online report

 

When I log back in again it will be ok. It doesnt appear to be that the admin area has timed out as it often happens in the middle of doing other things.

 

Can anyone help?

No im afraid no one has got back to me!Its a nightmare, i wonder if anyone actually can solve the problem!
