Access to installation dir

Hi Everyone!

 

Have searched around in the forum but havent found any topic regarding this matter.

 

When i have uploaded everything to my ftp, and then try to access the installation directory through the browser (catalog/install/), i get 403 or 500 msg all the time although i have tried to set the diffrent dirs to chmod 777 / 706 and so on... dont have a clue what i should do, so all help is appreciated.
