Clearance Items

Hi, looking for a way to integrate a 'clearance items' section to my oscommerce site? I guess I could just add a new box to either the right or left column and then add the pages for it, however, I would like to somehow integrate it into the oscommerce system much like you can add manufactures names to a product item - any suggestions?

you have a specials section in oscommerce can you not use that?

Nope - I wanted a section for 'out of date' items....any suggesitons?

Add a new category and name it Clearance Items. Or, if you want them in a seperate box, use the More Category Boxes mod and create several clearance item categories.

just use specials and change title to out of date in both cases we are giving discount functionality.

alsoif you want you can change the file name and equivalent values in filenames.php
