ebay4keeps Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I have very little, if no experience with PHP...but this OSCommerce is exactly what I need for my digital downloads storefront. The only problem I have, is pretty much how can I customize the thing. I want to get rid of all the php and OSC logos, and replace the header with my own banner ad. I also want to know how to change fonts and bg colors, as well as anything else that I can change. I have downloaded the manual and am trying to decipher it, but it reads like most manuals, and I have not the time to become an expert overnight. So can anyone point me to the fastrack of customizing this thing, I mean just a few modifications would get me going. Like, I can t even find the right file to start changing the home page even. Please help me, I am retarded, or I have rabies, or something...lol. Thanks, Shane.

Me joins the club  What I could find was http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/C...sign_and_Layout So, I guess that could be one end of the rope, right? I am in a desperate need for progress, since the time is short and I know practically nothing about php (not that it would be a problem, anyhow, 'cause people don't understand that Rome wasn't built in one day <_< ). What I'm guessing next is that we'll have to take all of the .php files in the folder and see what we can modify(and how), check the result and hope it's still working :sweating: :-" Oh yeah, the old fashioned way. Btw, if anyone has a good link on design and layout please, pleeease, make a reply.
