Nutter Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I'm getting a lot of random 404 errors in my logs for pages that I know are there, or at least are there when I try to visit them. I'm using the rewrite checkbox under options so that the URLs are a little friendlier, so that may be part of the problem but I don't understand why it would be seemingly random. I know it's happening because I can see it in my logs, and it's happening to fairly random browsers - sometimes GoogleBot, sometimes IE, sometimes FF, etc - but I've never been able to get it to happen to me. No matter how many times I refresh the pages are always found. Any suggestions as to where to look?
Nutter Posted April 10, 2007 Author Posted April 10, 2007 I think I've got something really screwed up. I checked the response headers and every one of my pages seems to be returning a 404 - obviously a bad thing. Not all the pages, but any one that has any type of rewrite going on. So shipping.php and index.php return a 200 but /product_info.php/products_id/107 is returning a 404. The page still comes up like it's supposed to, but the return code is wrong.
