Is there Nohope for Nochex ?

Okay, now I'm struggling.

 

I've tried in vain to get some guidance on this one, but just can't.

 

Unfortunately, I am ignorant of PHP (my first exposure to it was upon finding osCommerce as my pre-installed 'shop' and having to figure out how to make my 'shop' work). Now, I've reached checkout and I'm perplexed. I'm sure it's going to be something simple - it's just not passing a few vital bits of info. to Nochex.

 

I found someone else using the latest Nochex APC with no problems, but her site had a PHP file called 'confirm' and a html form structure on the page, which I certainly haven't got.

 

For anybody still interested, here is the road to Nowhere I have taken so far...

 

1) Obtained Hosting package which included osCommerce pre-installed and configured to my domain

 

2) Modified Date Format to English style

 

3) Modified Address Format to U.K. style

 

4) Obtained Nochex Merchant Account

 

5) Changed Nochex module link to https://secure.nochex.com as per instructions from Nochex

 

6) Took a Customer (myself) through the checkout process. The last 'good' page to show lists all the products, the VAT, shipping costs and total etc. Upon clicking to Confirm Order I am sent to a Nochex 'Send Money' page. This page asks the visitor if they would like to send money to my e-mail address. It also requires them to enter an amount they would like to send and another field is included for any message they would like to send.

 

The page also informs the customer that payments to certain e-mail addresses may require the customer to register with Nochex.

 

7) Hunted for solution on forums and found recommendation to install your module 15 Dec 2006 version.

 

8) Installed module as per instructions; configured my Payments Pages and enabled at control panel.

 

9) Ran checkout process in Test mode and exactly the same happened again. Filled in amount and submitted details, which took me to the 'right' Nochex page.

 

10) Uninstalled module, enabled old Nochex, ran again - same thing again.

 

Has anybody else fallen foul of this problem?
