How would I know/fix?
Guest Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I can add things to my cart in both browsers and it works fine .... until I go to checkout and then I get SSL warnings. Clear your browser cache and you will see that pages contain insecure items (your images).

Clear your browser cache and you will see that pages contain insecure items (your images). Interesting. I will fix that warning. Where I find the problem occuring is when I add something to the cart, then click "Continue Shopping" the cart dissappears on the following page. Session tep_href_links are being used. If I click on "Shopping Cart" in my nav bar, I see the cart with what was put in it. Further, if I click on "Home" in my nav bar, the cart disappears. It seems rather random. If I click on a category, the cart is not there, but if I click on a product from that category, the cart shows up. I've installed the "Hide cart infobox when empty" info box, but never noticed this problem before. Is there some code I can paste here for you to see to check? I'm not a php expert by any means. Thanks in advance!! Jay

JGerth Posted April 10, 2007 Author Posted April 10, 2007 Update:I disabled the hide cart feature, and it doesn't seem to play hide and seek anymore. Please stop by and confirm if you have a moment. Thanks! Nevermind... now the cart just has items in it one time on page A, and not the next on page B, then magically reappears on page C again. If you go to "shopping cart" everything is there. Please help!
JGerth Posted April 11, 2007 Author Posted April 11, 2007 What can cause orders not to even be written into the database with paypal IPN 1.4 installed properly? My hosting provider recently updated my mySQL database to 4.1.20, and since, 1. Orders are not recorded in the database at all, and... 2. Orders don't (logically, given #1) appear in the admin==>orders panel 3. No customer order emails are sent 4. I DO get an extra order email (thank God) that shows the order 5. No order number is assigned to orders Even if it seems little or silly, please bring it up... any suggestion might trigger the solution. Thanks much! Jay
