paypal session timeout

hi,

 

i've had this problem for a while and i still havent found the cause. I'm a fairly newbie so i'm trying to learn as i go along. Can anyone shed some light on why i get "your session has timed out" when trying to process a paypal payment? i'm just in the process of test driving my site and have so far had NO successful payments processed....

 

I'm using the original paypal.php file and the only mods i have made to it are: the item name in the paypal page, and changing the location from U.S. to U.K....

 

any idea's?

Have you set up a merchant account at paypal and configured your merchant account?

hi Leslie, thanks for your reply...no i havent set it up yet, i thought they still processed onto the email account until the account is attached with it?

To the best of my knowledge, you need an account with paypal to receive payments.
