Now I am realizing I simply want the index.php page to be my main index page www.uproarentertainment.com vs www.uproarentertainment.com/catalog. Is there an easy way to do this?

Yes just down load from the catalog folder all of your file to one on your desktop (or where ever you choose) and then (and make sure!) when you files have downloaded OK, delete the catalog on your server. Now it is a case of uploading your file to the Public_html you will need to change the configure files in your Admin/ includes & catalog >includes as they will still point to htt://www.yoursite.com/catalog/ Sounds a bit difficult but its really not! To summerise. Dowload to a folder delete catalog on your server open folder and upload all file to your public_html change the configure files job done just to be sure, i would leave the catalog fine alone until you are sure that it is all done!!!
