Can anyone help me quickly please!!! Regards Ackis Hi Maybe you can post a link to your site. When you click on a category in the product, the url is something like this: "http://tymusiccenter.com/index.php?cPath=29" where the number "29" is "categorises_id" field in the "categories_description" table corresponding to that "categories_name".
Ackis Posted April 9, 2007 Author Posted April 9, 2007 Here is a link... http://rcmaffian.se/oscommerce_st/catalog/product_info.php it says.. product can't be found. and when you click on a category you end up at the indexpage. /Ackis Jessica Fuchs

Ackis Posted April 9, 2007 Author Posted April 9, 2007 I do have an index page and I just rebuilt the site a bit so now it workes. You helped me understand the site a bit more THANK YOU for that!! :) I have never done anything like this before. I'm not familiar with neither php or html but I'm making small steps at a time. Maby in a year or so the site will look like I want it. :'( Have a nice day! /Jessica Jessica Fuchs
kirikintha Posted April 9, 2007 Posted April 9, 2007 Ok so - when you look at the product info page it has to have a ?xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx at the end of it it should look like this: http://rcmaffian.se/oscommerce_st/catalog/...;products_id=31 the cPath is the category path products_id identifies the product. Also, the index.php page allows for categories with the cPath - it's just how it works! Nothing unreal exists
Ackis Posted April 9, 2007 Author Posted April 9, 2007 Yes, I do understand a little bit more now :) That's always something! *smiling* Thank you for explaining to me. I've fixed that little problem now. :) And now I have to dig in to the next one! have a nice day!! /Jessica Jessica Fuchs
