Changing color of a menu bar??

I’m trying to change the color of these bars, actually everything that is that color. I don’t know what it is called.

I’m assuming it is something that can be changed in the style sheet. Any idea what it’s called or if it is in the style sheet.

Also, I would like to change the color inside the box, anyone know what that is called?

I’ve been trying each line of the stylesheet, but I can’t seem to hit the right one. I have gone over many pages of the forum looking for answers, but I can’t find it.

Thank you,

In the Catalog home folder and the admin/includes folder there is a file called stylesheet.css (other folders may have this file as well). I think the images/infobox may have something to do with it as well. Good luck.

Yes!

I finally got it! However, it looks like lemonade and mint. UGH!

So back to the color drawing board.

Thank you for your help.

I went into the style sheet and well messed around a bit.

I saved a copy as stylesheetORG.css

I changed

BODY {

background: #ffffcc;

color: #000000;

margin: 0px;

}

TR.headerNavigation {

background: #99ffcc;

}

TD.headerNavigation {

font-family: Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;

font-size: 10px;

background: #99ffcc;

color: #000000;

font-weight : bold;

}

TR.footer {

background: #99ffcc;

}

TD.footer {

font-family: Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;

font-size: 10px;

background: #99ffcc;

color: #000000;

font-weight: bold;

}

.infoBox {

background: #99ffcc;

}

.infoBoxContents {

background: #ccffcc;

font-family: Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;

font-size: 10px;

}

I'm not sure what else.

I let the source code be my guide.

I opened the source code and found a word category and that told me what to look for.

<td width="100%" height="14" class="infoBoxHeading">Categories</td>

<td height="14" class="infoBoxHeading" nowrap><img src="images/pixel_trans.gif" border="0" alt="" width="11" height="14"></td> that told me infoBoxHeading or at least something around that in the style sheet.

Does that make sence? Each time I made a change I uploaded it and if it worked great if not I changed it back.

I use FTP Commander, slow, but free!
