cardboardspaceship Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 mine has got multiple bugs. is it difficult to upgrade for a newbie?
Jack_mcs Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 Upgrading can be a difficult process if you are not familiar with editing the files. But if your shop has bugs in it, they should be fixed before making changes or you may make things worse (unless the bugs you refer to are fixed by the upgrade). You need to be sure, first of all, that you are using verion MS2. Search the includes/application_top.php file for "version" to find that out. cardboardspaceship Posted April 9, 2007 Author Posted April 9, 2007 // define the project version define('PROJECT_VERSION', 'osCommerce 2.2-MS2'); i guess i am ms2
Jack_mcs Posted April 9, 2007 Posted April 9, 2007 Now you need to download the latest package (see Solutions->Downloads in above menu) and read the update file in it. Check a few of your files to see if the changes have already been applied. If not, then you would need to make the changes mentioned in that file.
