Quick Search and HTTP Vars

Hey all,

 

When I run a quick search I'm seeing three HTTP vars in the URL -- 'keyword', 'x' and 'y' -- I can't seem to find where X and Y are being set. Is this something to do with the search engine friendly settings? I can't imagine that they'd aid the search in any way since the entire string is stored in the 'keywords' http var.

 

such as: www.store.com/searchresult.php?keywords=test&x=15&y=30

 

(x and y change frequently while searching for the same string btw)
