willwool Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 Hi there, is there anyone out there with a little time spare, i have opened a site but am finding it impossible to download ebooks from my pc to the site, it keeps asking for software url's when they dont have one. I'm totally new to all this and am finding the language difficult as well, although learning quickly. Can anyone give me idiot proof step by step instructions??? Thanks.

Transfering files from your computer to your website is known as Uploading. You do this with an FTP program. You need to upload your files to /catalog/download for them to be available to your customers. You will also need to add the files to the Products Attributes area in your Admin. I hope this helps. Cheers Andy Oops, I almost forgot. You need to creat the product listings first, then set the Products Attributes. You will find a Drop Down List there once the products are created.
