I finally got past global reg errors and now can get to install screen.thanks to vger's patch php files

now I get ...access denied for wandaful@localhost using password yes...wandaful is user name

in mini portal server admin account panel I gave user name wandaful@localhost,password and web account type admin,

 

I am not sure how to create a blank database, I give name for new database and then it says database has been created

no tables found

a box says run sql query,a checked box says show thie query again

or location of the text file

create new tables on database

name;fields and go button

 

and also dont know how to change permissions on folders or what to use to be able to set permissions on folders

I figured out how to change permissions,and all of the folders were already set to 777...

 

A test connection made to the database was NOT successful.

 

The error message returned is:

 

Access denied for user: 'wandaful@localhost' (Using password: YES)
