ejo14 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I am having a problem with a os commerce template I purchased, I have reinstalled it several times now and the same problem keeps happening. Everytime I load a product in which immediately makes it to the home page as a new product, the template does not resize the image only on the home page, it resizes perfectly in its respective category. I have a feeling this has to do with the products_new.php file but I cannot figure it out. The same template is also being used on gamedaypets.com/index.php and the same problem with blown up images on the home page, but they resize fine in their respective categories, any help would be greatly appreciated. EJ
kirikintha Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Can you tell us a bit more info about your build of OSC? Nothing unreal exists
ejo14 Posted April 6, 2007 Author Posted April 6, 2007 template from template moster, have used many of their oscommerce templates before, have never seen this error, what more do you need to know?
Guest Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 seems has to do with the image cache, no idea which module you're using but is not implemented for the new products module.
ejo14 Posted April 7, 2007 Author Posted April 7, 2007 seems has to do with the image cache, no idea which module you're using but is not implemented for the new products module. Why would the image cache work on every page but not the home page?
ejo14 Posted April 7, 2007 Author Posted April 7, 2007 Why would the image cache work on every page but not the home page? also this is a standard installation no new modules added??
Guest Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 I don't know which module is it, is it a contribution? if so what's the link. If you did yourself you should know about it.

I have not added a single contribution until today, I added a thumbnail contrib hoping that would solve the problem but it did not. Thanks, EJ

Thanks, EJ it's not part of the stock osc so then someone installed it for you? demo.oscommerce.com if you see the images they come straight from the images/ folder.
