Changing the form

Hello,

 

I am new to the whole OSCommerce thing and I honestly have no idea how to edit anything in the code. For that reason I went to this forum in the hopes of finding an answer to the question depicted in the topic description. As searching for the answer didn't do me much good I decided to make a topic about it.

 

Currently when a new member would sign up they would need to fill in there state manually, what I wish to do is make a drop-down list of the available states. My questions is: How do I change this and where would I apply these changes?
