kewldude_3001 Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Hey i had my hosting provider install this for me, and when i ask them what the admin/password they have no idea, is there any way i can find out what the username/pass for the admin is from the database and also how to change it once i found it. When i looked at my directory, they had the files that was inside catalog in my main directory and also had a oscommerce/catalog folder with the same files so i deleted the ones in the main directory since i looked at the folder structure and i saw that it wasnt supposed to be there and also my main homepage wasnt working. Would that mess anything up??? thanks in advance.

kirikintha Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 You are hosed. :'( You need to re-install - always remember to make a full copy you keep locally as a back up. AND Export you database often Good Luck! The "back up" folder for OSC is for the database only. Nothing unreal exists
