index.php links - some work, some don't

I'm brand new to osCommerce and php, so I'd appreciate any input you can provide. We moved a client's web to a windows server from an apache server (created and hosted by another developer). We installed oscommerce using the windows configuration and have resolved many issues up to this point, thanks to all these forums!

 

Here's what I am still having trouble with. From the home page (index.php)

• links to the standard oscommerce pages like, shopping cart, my account, etc. are working fine...BUT...
  
• links to the products displayed on the page are all giving me the error message "The page cannot be found"
  

Just a little background:

• we restored the .sql database using the admin control panel
  
• the previous developer had the catalog in the web root (no "catalog" folder) so I did the same in an effort to simplify the transfer
  

Please tell me where I should start to resolve this issue, or if you need more info.
