problems with cool menu. can't get " makeCM " defined.

I have installed the cool menu. but I keep getting this error

 

'makeCM' is undefined

 

which I believe is in the coolmenu.php file. in this line

" oCMenu=new makeCM("oCMenu") //Making the menu object. Argument: menuname "

 

was there something I missed?..
