Brunswick Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 After reading yet another thread where the person made a comment that she had searched and searched without much luck, I wondered is there some way to improve this part of the forum? Even when you limit your search terms to a single specific forum, the results are far from specific. One of the reasons the same questions are asked repeatedly, I suspect, is that the search engine does not seem to narrow down the search very much. This means you still have to go through hundreds if not thousands of posts, an almost impossible task. Is it just me, or are others having the same problem. Is there any way to improve the search function to narrow down the field a little. I don't know if this can be done, but what if it were made possible to only search the titles, for instance? Would this help? I'm a pretty good "googler" so I'm thinking a better search experience might help. Anybody?? -Hank :rolleyes:
